Churup Lake

Duration: 02 Days.

Climbing season: May to September

Daily trips start at 7 am. returning to Huaraz at 5 pm .

Itinerary:
Day 1: We start from Huaraz by road to the village of Pitec. From this point we have a vast perspective of the southern part of the Cordillera Blanca. The trail continues to Churup Lake (4600m) where we set camp. In the afternoon we can walk to a higher lake Curupita, located at the base of Nevado Churup (5495m). This trek allows acclimatization.
Day 2: return to Huaraz on trail.

EXPEDITION COSTS INCLUDE

- 1 nights camping
- Private local transportation Huaraz - Pitec - Huaraz.
- Mountain guide, porters and cook.
- Kitchen gear and cooking facilities at base camp (including dining tent,chairs, cooking tent)

. Food for the whole duration of the trek (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is included.
- Camping gear: 4 season tent
- First aid kit

Not included:

- Personal equipment trek (sleeping bag, sleeping mattress etc..)
- Personal expenses.
